New SF-902S to be Released At SEMA!

Colorado Springs, CO (October 20, 2011) SuperFlow today announced that they will release their new SF-902S engine dynamometer November 1st at SEMA. This and the SF-Powermark (released earlier this year) represent SuperFlow’s water brake engine dynamometer lineup of the future.

At first glance, the SF-902S looks and feels a lot like its predecessor, the popular SF-902, but the similarities stop there. It features a brand new, stainless steel absorber designed for extreme durability and rated for 15,000 RPM, 1,500 HP and 1,000 lb-ft of torque. The included boom assembly cleans up the test cell immensely by housing both the sensor box and the cooling tower behind the dyno. The sensor box now includes 4 user-configurable LCD displays to monitor any channel from the WinDyn Data Acquisition System and they’re always in sight thanks to the boom. The redesigned control console includes an industrial, touch-screen tablet PC that docks in the console, but can also be taken into the test cell and used wirelessly during startup, timing adjustments, valve lashing, etc. The included dual 22” monitors make watching live test results and analyzing test data simple and easy, plus WinDyn’s 10 user-configurable screens can be customized to view test data any way you like. The rugged new docking cart is also compatible with the SF-Powermark and it features a quick disconnect handle so it’s out of the way during testing, but readily available to effortlessly move the cart when there’s no engine on it.

The SF-902S will be available for sale on November 1, 2011 and will start shipping in January of 2012. It will be on display with the SF-Powermark and other SuperFlow dynamometers and flowbenches at the tradeshows this fall. Visit SuperFlow at SEMA in booth 20537, at PRI in booth 5369 and at IMIS in booth 826. Complete system information will be available on www.SuperFlow.com November 1st, 2011.

The SF-Powermark and the SF-902S give SuperFlow the most complete and feature rich performance engine dynamometer lineup on the market. Together these incredible new engine dynamometer systems cover applications ranging from small single cylinder motorcycle engines to blown alcohol drag race engines and everything in-between. To make it easy SuperFlow has equipped both dynos identically so customers only need to decide which dyno best fits their particular application. SuperFlow Installs New SF-Powermark At Colorado Springs Location

Colorado Springs, CO (September 20, 2011) SuperFlow announced today that they have completed installation of the newly released SF-Powermark Engine Dynamometer in a new state-of-the-art test cell at their Colorado Springs facility. Since merging with DTS in May, SuperFlow has been hard at work perfecting their dual vavle control technology and adding WinDyn software to the popular Powermark Engine Dynamometer. Now all new SF-Powermark’s are shipping exclusively with SuperFlow’s WinDyn software which will give it many more channels, a faster sampling rate, advanced control strategies and a fully customizable test environment.

SuperFlow has also taken a few notes from Dave Arsenault, former president of DTS and newly appointed General Manager of SuperFlow’s performance products. “We’ve streamlined the engine carts so the same cart works with either the SF-902 or the SF-Powermark,” said Scott Kriskowski SuperFlow’s sales manager. They’ve also integrated the Powermark boom into the SF-902 to clean up the finished installation and also allow greater access to the engine for easy tuning, valve adjustments, etc.

With this test cell completed and its sister cell scheduled to be completed with the new SF-902S in October SuperFlow is planning to offer in house training for new customers as well as continuing education courses for advanced WinDyn users. “We’re very excited to be able to offer training classes in our new facility,” said Mike Giles, Marketing Manager. “We are also going to make the test cells available to rent for individuals who would like to do some high altitude testing, or who would like the opportunity to learn some engine testing secrets from our technicians,” Giles added.

SuperFlow’s new SF-902S engine dyno features a completely redesigned stainless steel absorber for increased durability and a massive speed rating. It and the new SF-Powermark will be available for viewing at all of the tradeshows this fall. There SuperFlow will also be displaying a completely redesigned control console that features a new wireless touch screen interface for use at the console and also in the test cell. Don’t miss them this fall at SEMA in booth 20537, PRI booth 5369, or IMIS booth 826. Visit SuperFlow on the web at www.SuperFlow.com or by phone at 800.471.7701

SuperFlow and DTS Back at the Engine Masters Challenge!

SuperFlow and DTS will once again be a part of the 2011 Amsoil Engine Masters Challenge, but this time as the same organization. SuperFlow and DTS representatives will be attending the event to answer questions, present awards and assist with the dynos if needed. “We’re very excited to be a part of the event,” said Mike Giles, Marketing Manager for SuperFlow. “The Engine Masters Challenge is a great event for our customers and we want to support it and them any way we can,” Giles continued.

Thanks to an idea from a long time Engine Masters competitor and former winner, John Kaase, SuperFlow will be awarding the top two new competitors in both the Street and Xtreme Street divisions with product certificates for use on any new SuperFlow or DTS engine dynamometer. The highest finishing new competitor will receive a $2,000 certificate and the second highest finishing new competitor will receive a $1,000 certificate. To add a little incentive, SuperFlow is planning to add an extra $1,000 to the certificate if a new participant in either division can win.

VP Racing Fuels, SuperFlow Technologies Group Announce Strategic Partnership

Industry Leaders Leverage Synergies to Reach Engine Builders

DES MOINES, IA (August 8, 2011) SuperFlow Technologies Group today announced a multi-year agreement with VP Racing Fuels whereby SuperFlow factory technicians will test all new engine dynamometers prior to shipment exclusively with VP’s C12 racing fuel. “The partnership with VP is very exciting because although we sell very different products, our goal is the same—to produce repeatable products with optimum performance,” said Scott Giles, CEO of SuperFlow. “For us, it’s all about repeatability, which means controlling variables. We know that each barrel of C12 that goes into our test engines is going to perform exactly like the last.”

“In addition to consistency, VP’s fuels have a well-earned reputation for power and performance while SuperFlow is recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of dynamometers and flow benches in the country,” said Steve Scheidker, VP’s Director of Marketing. “With SuperFlow’s endorsement, engine builders among its customers will be reminded that the combination of SuperFlow equipment and VP Racing Fuels will yield not only the most consistent data, but also the optimum performance that can be achieved with an engine.”

SuperFlow’s Dirt Late Model Team will also exclusively use C12 to ensure maximum power and consistent performance. “We’ve had troubles with other fuels in the past gumming up our carburetors and providing inconsistent power,” explained Mike Giles, SuperFlow’s Marketing Manager. “Our in-house testing on both the engine and chassis dynamometers with C12 in both of our cars produced more power, but most importantly the power was there consistently across our entire test procedure from multiple barrels of fuel.”

VP Racing Fuels has been leading the field in race fuel technology for more than 35 years. Offering maximum power and torque, consistency and top quality, VP is typically acknowledged to be preferred by sportsman and professional racers and engine builders alike when they’re given a choice. VP is the Official Fuel of NHRA Championship Drag Racing, American Le Mans, and World of Outlaws Sprint Car and Late Model Series, among nearly 60 VP-sponsored racing series across North America and around the world.

In addition to racing fuels, VP’s product line includes performance chemicals, lubricants, traction compounds, fuel containers and SEF Small Engine Fuels – each designed to produce optimum performance in their respective applications. More information can be obtained online at VPRacingFuels.com and SEFfuels.com.
