This and the SF-Powermark (released earlier this year) represent SuperFlow’s water brake engine dynamometer lineup of the future.

At first glance, the SF-902S looks and feels a lot like its predecessor, the popular SF-902, but the similarities stop there. It features a brand new, stainless steel absorber designed for extreme durability and rated for 15,000 RPM, 1,500 HP and 1,000 lb-ft of torque. The included boom assembly cleans up the test cell immensely by housing both the sensor box and the cooling tower behind the dyno. The sensor box now includes 4 user-configurable LCD displays to monitor any channel from the WinDyn Data Acquisition System and they’re always in sight thanks to the boom. The redesigned control console includes an industrial, touch-screen tablet PC that docks in the console, but can also be taken into the test cell and used wirelessly during startup, timing adjustments, valve lashing, etc. The included dual 22” monitors make watching live test results and analyzing test data simple and easy, plus WinDyn’s 10 user-configurable screens can be customized to view test data any way you like. The rugged new docking cart is also compatible with the SF-Powermark and it features a quick disconnect handle so it’s out of the way during testing, but readily available to effortlessly move the cart when there’s no engine on it.

The SF-902S will be available for sale on November 1, 2011 and will start shipping in January of 2012. It will be on display with the SF-Powermark and other SuperFlow dynamometers and flowbenches at the tradeshows this fall. Visit SuperFlow at SEMA in booth 20537, at PRI in booth 5369 and at IMIS in booth 826. Complete system information will be available on www.SuperFlow.com November 1st, 2011.

The SF-Powermark and the SF-902S give SuperFlow the most complete and feature rich performance engine dynamometer lineup on the market. Together these incredible new engine dynamometer systems cover applications ranging from small single cylinder motorcycle engines to blown alcohol drag race engines and everything in-between. To make it easy SuperFlow has equipped both dynos identically so customers only need to decide which dyno best fits their particular application. We know that each barrel of C12 that goes into our test engines is going to perform exactly like the last.”

“In addition to consistency, VP’s fuels have a well-earned reputation for power and performance while SuperFlow is recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of dynamometers and flow benches in the country,” said Steve Scheidker, VP’s Director of Marketing. “With SuperFlow’s endorsement, engine builders among its customers will be reminded that the combination of SuperFlow equipment and VP Racing Fuels will yield not only the most consistent data, but also the optimum performance that can be achieved with an engine.”

SuperFlow’s Dirt Late Model Team will also exclusively use C12 to ensure maximum power and consistent performance. “We’ve had troubles with other fuels in the past gumming up our carburetors and providing inconsistent power,” explained Mike Giles, SuperFlow’s Marketing Manager. “Our in-house testing on both the engine and chassis dynamometers with C12 in both of our cars produced more power, but most importantly the power was there consistently across our entire test procedure from multiple barrels of fuel.”

VP Racing Fuels has been leading the field in race fuel technology for more than 35 years. Additionally, the individual engine builder will get a $100 check and the winning driver will receive a free 2011 IMCA license compliments of SuperFlow. Then the modifieds will take their shot at the SuperFlow contingencies. Wednesday thru Friday SuperFlow will award a $500 product certificate to the company who builds each qualifying feature winning engine and $25 cash to the engine builder.
